He was arrested on November 1 during the 2025 election campaign after the killing of Dularchand Yadav. The Patna High Court granted him bail, clearing the way for his release after legal formalities were completed.
Soon after reaching his residence in Patna, supporters gathered in large numbers to welcome him. Celebrations began immediately, with food arrangements made for thousands and a festive atmosphere across the area.
Singh had won the Mokama seat while in jail. Now, he plans a long roadshow from Patna to Barahiya, where he will offer prayers at a temple.
