The Congress appoints 53 district presidents in Bihar as part of a major organisational reshuffle aimed at strengthening the party ahead of upcoming political challenges. The new list includes several fresh faces and leaders from different regions of the state.
In the latest appointments, 43 leaders are new, while 10 leaders have been given another term. The party leadership took this decision after internal discussions and feedback from district units. The move aims to improve coordination and strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.
Among the important appointments, Kumar Ashish has been named the district president for Patna Town. Several other districts such as Araria, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur and Supaul also received new district chiefs.
Party leaders said the changes will help energise workers across the state. The Congress appoints 53 district presidents in Bihar to rebuild its organisation and prepare for future elections.
