An International Wrestling Competition will take place in Nadwan village of Patna district. Local MLA Anant Singh is organising the event in memory of Viveka Pehelwan. The International Wrestling Competition marks the first death anniversary of the well-known wrestler.
The event will bring together several famous wrestlers from India and other countries. Participants from states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra are expected to compete. Wrestlers from countries such as Iran and Georgia may also take part in the competition.
Organisers have prepared a traditional wrestling arena using red soil mixed with turmeric, neem, and mustard oil. Thousands of spectators are expected to attend the event and watch the exciting matches.
Viveka Pehelwan and Anant Singh once had a strong rivalry in the region. Later, their relationship improved. The competition now honours Viveka Pehelwan’s legacy and his contribution to wrestling.
