The suspense over the Bihar New CM continues after the BJP cancelled its core group meeting in Delhi. Several senior leaders had travelled to the capital to discuss the Bihar New CM, but the party postponed the meeting.
Leaders such as Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha went to Delhi for the discussion. However, the party suddenly cancelled the meeting. After the cancellation, the leaders began returning to Patna.
The meeting was expected to take place at the residence of BJP leader Vinod Tawde. Several senior leaders from Bihar were likely to attend. The party has not explained the reason for cancelling the meeting.
Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar recently took oath as a Rajya Sabha member. Reports say he may leave the chief minister’s post soon.
The delay means the announcement of the new chief minister may take more time.
