Notorious Naxalite Pradeep Arrested after security forces tracked him down following nearly 15 years of hiding. The arrest marks a major success for police and security agencies working against extremist activities in the region.
According to officials, Notorious Naxalite Pradeep Arrested during a joint operation by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Dumaria police. The team carried out a raid in a border village after receiving intelligence inputs and managed to capture him.
Pradeep, a resident of Jharkhand’s Palamu district, had been involved in several Naxal-related activities across Bihar and nearby states. Authorities say he played a key role in multiple armed attacks and helped plan violent operations targeting security forces.
Police records state that he was involved in a 2012 attack on a joint search team of police and CRPF personnel. During that incident, he and his associates opened heavy fire while attempting to loot weapons, leaving a police officer seriously injured.
After his arrest, officials brought him to the police headquarters under tight security. Investigators are now questioning him to gather information about his network and other members of the group.
