The search for the Bihar CM face has intensified as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prepares to select its legislative party leader in the state. The party has appointed Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the central observer for the meeting that will decide the next leader. Shivraj Singh Chouhan will oversee the process of choosing the leader who may become the Bihar CM face.
The BJP parliamentary board assigned Chouhan this responsibility to ensure a smooth and transparent selection of the legislative party leader. The meeting of BJP MLAs will soon take place in Patna, where the final decision is expected.
Several leaders are being discussed as possible contenders. Among them, Samrat Choudhary is considered a strong candidate. However, the party leadership may still make a surprise choice.
The move comes as the state prepares for a leadership transition, and the BJP is likely to announce its chief ministerial candidate soon.
