The Kishanganj SHO Abhishek Ranjan raid has exposed massive illegal wealth linked to a Bihar police officer. The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) carried out raids at several locations connected to the officer in Bihar and West Bengal.
During the Kishanganj SHO Abhishek Ranjan raid, investigators searched multiple properties, including homes and offices. Officials found evidence of assets worth crores that appear far beyond his known sources of income.
The raid uncovered luxury properties, land investments, and signs of an expensive lifestyle linked to the officer. Reports say he owned a bungalow worth about ₹2 crore and often spent money on luxury travel and hotels.
EOU teams conducted searches in cities such as Patna, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, and Siliguri. Officers also examined documents related to property deals and financial transactions during the operation.
Officials believe the assets may exceed ₹20 crore and could be linked to benami investments. The investigation is still ongoing, and more details may come out after further checks.
