41 CO and RO suspended before Samrat Choudhary government formation in Bihar in a major administrative move. The action came just before the formation of the new government.
The Revenue and Land Reforms Department suspended 41 Circle Officers (CO) and Revenue Officers (RO). These officers had stayed on strike for over a month. Officials said the protest disrupted many government services.
Authorities said the officers took mass leave and stopped regular work. This affected land-related services and other administrative tasks. The government asked them to return to duty earlier, but many continued the protest.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha warned that strict action would follow. He said the government would not tolerate disruption in public services.
The suspension order came as Samrat Choudhary prepares to lead the new government in Bihar.
