The Samrat Choudhary Oath Ceremony marked a major political change in Bihar as Samrat Choudhary took oath as the state’s new Chief Minister. The ceremony took place at the Raj Bhavan in Patna on Wednesday. With this event, the Samrat Choudhary Oath Ceremony officially launched the new NDA government in the state.
Choudhary became the first Chief Minister from the Bharatiya Janata Party to lead the state government in Bihar. Leaders from the Janata Dal (United) also joined the new government.
Senior JD(U) leaders Bijendra Prasad Yadav and Vijay Kumar Choudhary took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers during the ceremony. The event followed the resignation of Nitish Kumar, who stepped down from the Chief Minister’s post earlier.
Many NDA leaders and supporters attended the event. The new leadership is expected to focus on development, governance, and political stability in the state. The government may expand the cabinet soon after further political discussions.
