Missing Youth Murdered in Jehanabad shocked residents after a 39-year-old man who had been missing for three days was found dead in a field in Bihar’s Jehanabad district. Police recovered the body on Friday in Badlu Bigha village under the Parasbigha police station area.
Family members identified the victim as Anjay Kumar, also known as Arun Kumar. They alleged that attackers killed him and poured acid on his face to destroy evidence and hide his identity.
According to relatives, the victim had argued with a villager a few days earlier while burning crop residue in his field. The accused allegedly threatened him during the dispute. Soon after the incident, he went missing and did not return home.
Villagers protested for nearly nine hours after the body was found and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits. Police later sent the body for post-mortem examination.
Officers have detained one suspect and started questioning him. Authorities said the investigation continues and further arrests may follow. The Missing Youth Murdered in Jehanabad case has created tension in the area.
