The deceased, identified as Shiv Kumar Yadav from the Adampur Ghat area, allegedly consumed poison after the disturbing video call with his wife. According to family members, wife wipes off sindoor during video call and declared that she wanted to end the marriage.
Shiv Kumar had married Beauty Kumari in a love marriage in 2020. The couple has two children and initially lived happily. However, their relationship later turned tense. Disputes reportedly started last December. After the arguments, the wife moved to her parents’ home with the children.
Family members said Shiv remained under severe stress after the incident. On April 26 night, he returned home from work and later consumed poison in his room. Doctors declared him dead during treatment. Police have started an investigation.
