The Bihar BJP New Committee is expected to be announced soon as the party finalizes its list of leaders for the state unit. The party leadership has already sent the proposed names to the central leadership for approval. Once the high command gives the green signal, the official announcement of the Bihar BJP New Committee will follow.
State president Sanjay Sarawagi prepared the list after weeks of discussions with party leaders. The committee will include a mix of experienced politicians and young leaders to create a balanced leadership team. Around three dozen leaders may receive positions such as vice president, general secretary, secretary, treasurer, and office in-charge.
The party also plans to maintain social balance while selecting members. Leaders from different communities will get representation. Women will also receive a significant share of positions. The party aims to ensure nearly one-third participation of women in the committee.
Meanwhile, BJP national leader Nitin Nabin may visit Patna on April 30. During the visit, he will likely meet party leaders and discuss key political issues in the state.
