The Osama Shahab anticipatory bail rejected decision has created fresh legal trouble for the RJD MLA from Raghunathpur in Bihar. A district court in Siwan refused to grant him pre-arrest bail in a land dispute case, increasing the possibility of further legal action. The Osama Shahab anticipatory bail rejected development has drawn attention to the ongoing dispute.
The court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Motish Kumar Singh heard arguments from both sides before rejecting the plea. Osama Shahab had requested anticipatory bail to avoid arrest after a case was filed against him. His lawyer said the MLA was innocent and falsely implicated in the dispute. However, the prosecution opposed the request and called the allegations serious.
According to the complaint, a doctor couple accused Shahab and others of trying to stop construction work on their land in Siwan’s Jhunapur area. They also alleged that workers were threatened and assaulted during the incident.
Police registered an FIR on April 15 naming four people and several unidentified individuals. Authorities are continuing the investigation.
