Former Telangana minister and BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao launched a sharp attack on the Congress government during the Rythu Sangrama Sabha in Warangal. KTR attacks Congress gang remarks quickly became a major political talking point in Telangana.
Speaking at the farmers’ meeting, KTR accused Congress leaders of cheating farmers with false promises made in the Farmers’ Declaration before elections. He questioned what happened to the 34 promises announced earlier and said farmers are now suffering because of unfulfilled assurances.
KTR also criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and alleged that the state government failed to support farmers properly. He claimed Congress leaders focused more on politics than solving agriculture issues.
During his speech, KTR attacks Congress gang comments drew attention after he said the “Congress gang is more dangerous than the chaddi gang.” The remarks sparked political debate across Telangana.
