Supporters of Vijay have launched protests across Tamil Nadu. The anger began after the governor delayed inviting him to form the government despite his party emerging as the largest in the assembly. The issue has made Vijay fans angry with governor, and demonstrations are spreading across the state.
Several fans gathered outside Vijay’s residence and expressed emotional support. One supporter even broke down in tears, claiming that political forces were trying to stop Vijay from becoming chief minister. Many protesters said people voted for change and that the governor must respect the public mandate.
Fan associations warned that Vijay fans angry with governor could launch a massive protest similar to the famous Jallikattu protests of 2017 if the situation does not change. Meanwhile, opposition parties also criticized the governor’s approach and announced statewide demonstrations demanding a quick decision.
