Bandi Bhagirath Responds to SIT Notices in connection with a case under the POCSO Act. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) asked him to appear for questioning at Pet Basheerabad Police Station in Hyderabad.
Bandi Sai Bhagirath is the son of BJP leader and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Bhagirath sent a letter to the SIT explaining why he could not attend the inquiry. Bandi Bhagirath Responds to SIT Notices by asking officials for two more days to appear before them.
He said he received the notice only recently and needed time to prepare documents. The SIT issued the notice as part of its investigation into the allegations filed under the POCSO Act.
Meanwhile, Bhagirath approached the Telangana High Court and requested interim bail. The court will hear the petition soon as the investigation continues.
