Heavy crowds continue at the famous hill shrine of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams as the Tirumala devotee rush increases sharply this week. Thousands of pilgrims arrived for Sarva Darshan, leading to long waiting hours and packed queue complexes.
Officials said the Tirumala devotee rush pushed the Sarva Darshan waiting time to nearly 30 hours. Devotees filled several queue compartments, while many waited overnight to get a glimpse of Lord Venkateswara.
Temple authorities requested pilgrims to plan their visit carefully and carry essential items such as drinking water and medicines. Security staff and volunteers are managing the crowd and guiding devotees across the queue lines.
The temple also witnessed heavy traffic near accommodation centers and laddu counters. Despite the rush, officials continued darshan arrangements smoothly and increased monitoring around the temple premises.
Authorities expect the crowd to remain high over the next few days due to holidays and special prayers.
