Heavy crowds of pilgrims were seen at Tirumala Temple on Saturday as the Tirumala devotee rush increased sharply during the weekend. Officials said all compartments in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex were completely full due to the huge inflow of devotees.
The Tirumala devotee rush forced many pilgrims to wait for long hours for Sarva Darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Queue lines reportedly stretched outside the complex as thousands of devotees continued to arrive at the hill shrine. Authorities asked pilgrims to cooperate with crowd management staff and follow queue regulations.
Temple officials arranged drinking water, food, and other basic facilities for devotees waiting in the lines. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) also increased security and monitoring measures to manage the heavy crowd situation smoothly.
Officials advised devotees planning a visit during weekends and holidays to expect longer waiting times for darshan.
