Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh strongly responded to YSR Congress Party chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy over his criticism of the Mega DSC recruitment drive. The Mega DSC row turned political after Jagan questioned the transparency of the recruitment process.
Reacting through social media, Lokesh said the previous YSRCP government failed to fill even a single teacher post during its five-year rule. He added that the current coalition government already filled around 16,000 teacher posts and also released a new job calendar with 10,000 additional vacancies.
Lokesh accused Jagan of insulting candidates who secured jobs through merit in the Mega DSC exams. He also alleged that YSRCP leaders tried to delay the recruitment process through multiple court cases.
The Mega DSC issue has now become a major political debate in Andhra Pradesh, with both parties trading sharp criticism over jobs and education policies.
