The DSC Irregularities Protest spread across Andhra Pradesh on Thursday as YSR Congress Party student wing leaders and activists organized demonstrations in several district headquarters.
The protesters alleged large-scale irregularities in the DSC teacher recruitment process. They demanded justice for unemployed youth and called for a high-level investigation into the recruitment procedure. During the DSC Irregularities Protest, party workers raised slogans against the state government and accused officials of failing to ensure transparency.
YCP student wing representatives staged protests near collectorates and education department offices in many districts. In a few places, tension increased when activists attempted to lay siege to government offices.
The protestors warned that they would continue their agitation until eligible candidates receive fair treatment. They also urged the government to respond quickly to the concerns raised by job aspirants.
The demonstrations drew participation from student leaders, party workers, and unemployed candidates from different parts of the state. Political reactions over the DSC issue are expected to intensify in the coming days.
