The Andhra Pradesh state cabinet, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will meet today at 11 a.m. in Velagapudi Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, ministers, Chief Secretary Vijayanand, and government advisors will join the session.

The cabinet will discuss 30 agenda items. Approval of the Scheduled Castes sub-classification bill is expected to be the main highlight. This move aims to ensure equal distribution of benefits among SC communities. The establishment of 10 new medical colleges will also be reviewed, strengthening healthcare and medical education in the state.

In response to recent heavy rains, the cabinet may release ₹571 crore as flood relief. Amaravati-based educational and medical institutions are expected to receive stamp duty exemptions. Several industries could also secure approvals from the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB).

Other proposals include the introduction of a universal health policy, a reduction in green tax on transport vehicles, and a new scheme to legalize unauthorized constructions. These decisions are expected to have far-reaching effects on welfare, infrastructure, and industrial growth across Andhra Pradesh.
