Police registered a POCSO case against Bhageerath on May 8 at Pet Basheerabad Police Station. Authorities alleged that he behaved inappropriately with a minor girl. The case attracted significant attention across Telangana.
A special police team arrested Bhageerath on May 16 and sent him to judicial remand. Investigators later sought his custody to gather more evidence. The court allowed three days of police custody.
During the investigation, police took Bhageerath to Aranya Farmhouse in Moinabad and conducted a scene reconstruction exercise. After hearing arguments on his bail plea, the Malkajgiri Court granted him bail.
