Anakapalli: Former Minister Gudivada Amarnath criticized the current government for failing to address farmers’ issues in Andhra Pradesh , including the distribution of urea and other essential agricultural support . Speaking at the YSRCP district office in Anakapalli, Amarnath said that while agriculture is the foundation of knowledge, farmers continue to struggle due to government neglect .
He highlighted that under Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan’s leadership, farmers received timely seeds and fertilizers through over 15,000 Rythu Bharosa Kendras , which provided efficient services and became a model for other regions. In contrast, he alleged that the present administration is threatening farmers and giving only one bag of urea regardless of land size, leaving them unprepared for the agricultural season.
Amarnath emphasized that YSRCP will continue to fight for farmers’ rights, submitting petitions at all RTO offices statewide on September 9 to highlight the government’s failure in addressing their concerns effectively.
