A tragic incident occurred in Nalanda district, Bihar, where the husband of a school principal took his own life, allegedly due to financial distress. The incident happened late Thursday night in the Bhesasur Mohalla area of Lakhisarai police station. The deceased, Sudhir Kumar, 35, had recently been under severe stress due to a loan of over 1 crore INR.
Sudhir’s wife, a government school principal, disclosed that her husband had been duped by his maternal uncle. Sudhir had invested a substantial amount of money into a property deal that turned out to be fraudulent. His uncle, who had promised assistance with the property purchase, failed to return the money.
In his suicide note, Sudhir blamed his uncle and a friend for the financial losses and the emotional strain he had been enduring. The police have initiated an investigation, and the body has been sent for postmortem.
