YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy has secured interim bail from the Vijayawada ACB Court in the liquor scam case. The court granted him temporary relief to cast his vote in the Vice President election on September 9.

Reddy, currently in Rajahmundry Central Jail as a remand prisoner, must return to custody on September 11. The court made it clear that the bail applies only for his participation in the electoral process.

The Vice President election is set for September 9, with results expected the same evening. The YSR Congress Party has already pledged its support to the NDA candidate.

The court’s order gives Reddy a brief break from jail but adds pressure as the case continues. The decision carries both political and legal weight, highlighting the close link between judicial proceedings and electoral politics in Andhra Pradesh.
