The J&K LG Sinha opens international nanotechnology conference in Srinagar to highlight the role of science in solving global challenges. On Sunday, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the five-day event at the University of Kashmir.

The conference, titled Nanotechnology for Better Living (NBL-2025), brings together more than 500 scientists, researchers, innovators, and students from India and abroad. They will showcase advancements in nanoscience and discuss applications for sustainable living.

The J&K LG Sinha opens international nanotechnology conference in Srinagar focuses on how nanotechnology can impact healthcare, agriculture, industries, and the environment. Speakers will present research papers and highlight the transformative potential of this cutting-edge field.

In his address, LG Sinha said nanotechnology is changing lives and will shape solutions to future global problems. He emphasized that research in this area holds the key to innovation, sustainable development, and better quality of life.

The event is being organized in collaboration with IIT Hyderabad and NIT Srinagar. Experts will discuss how nanoscience can be applied to energy, medicine, food production, and environmental protection. The conference runs from September 7 to 11 at the University of Kashmir campus in Srinagar.
