Andhra Pradesh Government Chief Whip GV Anjaneyulu launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said Jagan had failed the people of Rayalaseema and would not secure even a single vote in the region.
Speaking to the media, Anjaneyulu alleged that the YSRCP conspired to create a urea shortage, betraying farmers under the guise of protecting them. He challenged YSRCP MLAs to attend the Assembly if they truly cared about farmers’ issues. “If they come, we are even ready to give them an extra hour to speak,” he added.
He accused YSRCP of misleading farmers while ignoring real solutions. “The ruling party created crises only to politicize them,” Anjaneyulu said. He stressed that sincere concern for farmers means open debate in the legislature, not empty promises.
Praising Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Anjaneyulu said no leader could match him in turning crises into opportunities. He credited Chandrababu for bringing Handri Neeva waters to Rayalaseema, transforming a drought-prone region into fertile land. “The green legacy of Rayalaseema belongs to Chandrababu alone,” he declared.
