Gautam Adani Rejoins World’s Top 20 Billionaires, Ambani Faces Exit Risk

Gautam Adani re-enters Bloomberg Billionaires Index top 20 as Mukesh Ambani faces risk of slipping out of the list

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index is witnessing a reshuffle among the world’s wealthiest individuals. Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group, has re-entered the global top-20 billionaire list. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, risks slipping out of the top 20 if his fortunes dip further.

Currently, Ambani ranks 19th with a net worth of $97.7 billion, while Adani holds the 20th spot at $80.3 billion. To surpass Ambani, Adani must add more than $17 billion to his wealth. Over the past 24 hours, Adani’s fortune surged by $1.24 billion, while Ambani saw a dip of $89.7 million.

Globally, American billionaires continue to dominate. Elon Musk remains the richest person with $384 billion, though his wealth rose only by $420 million. Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin each gained over $4 billion. Larry Ellison added $3.34 billion, while Jeff Bezos grew his fortune by $2.19 billion.

The top 10 billionaires list includes Musk ($384B), Ellison ($295B), Zuckerberg ($269B), Bezos ($258B), Page ($210B), Brin ($196B), Steve Ballmer ($171B), Bernard Arnault ($163B), Jensen Huang ($149B), and Warren Buffett ($148B). The rapid shifts highlight ongoing volatility in global markets.
