Telangana CM Revanth Reddy pays floral tribute to Chakali Ailamma on her death anniversary in Delhi

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy hailed Chakali Ailamma as a fearless symbol of resistance against oppression and tyranny. On her death anniversary, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to her portrait at his Delhi residence.

Revanth Reddy said Ailamma raised the banner of defiance against feudal arrogance and authoritarianism nearly 80 years ago. He recalled her role as a warrior in the Telangana Armed Struggle, describing her as a beacon of courage and determination for future generations.

The Chief Minister added that the inspiration drawn from icons like Sammakka, Sarakka, and Chakali Ailamma led to the creation of the Telangana Thalli statue. He emphasized that their sacrifices shaped the cultural and political identity of Telangana.

The program was attended by MPs Porika Balaram Naik, Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy, and Congress leader Rohin Reddy, among others. Leaders paid homage and remembered her as a revolutionary force who stood against injustice and inspired the Telangana movement.
