More than 200 passengers faced a frustrating night at Delhi airport when an Air India flight delay forced everyone to deplane. The Singapore-bound Flight AI2380, scheduled to depart around 11 p.m. on September 10, left travelers waiting inside the aircraft for nearly two hours before the airline shifted them back to the terminal.
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner developed issues with both its air conditioning system and electric supply. Passengers struggled inside the hot cabin, with many using newspapers and magazines to fan themselves. Several video clips shared on social media showed the tough situation onboard.
According to a PTI journalist present on the flight, the crew did not immediately provide clear reasons for the delay or the decision to deplane. The lack of proper air conditioning only added to the discomfort.
This Air India flight delay highlighted how technical problems can disrupt schedules and impact hundreds of passengers. The airline is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
