Being Soft on Illegal Aliens Over, declared US President Donald Trump after the shocking beheading of Chandra Nagamallaiah, an Indian-origin man in Dallas, Texas. Trump condemned the crime and vowed that the accused will face first-degree murder charges. He promised that his government will not go easy on immigrant criminals.
Being Soft on Illegal Aliens Over, Trump repeated, stressing that America must stay safe. He said Nagamallaiah, a respected motel manager in Dallas, was brutally killed in front of his wife and son by Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, a Cuban undocumented immigrant with a violent criminal history.
The attack happened on September 10 at the Downtown Suites motel. CCTV footage showed Martinez chasing Nagamallaiah with a machete before killing him and throwing his head into a dumpster. Trump blamed President Biden for releasing Martinez despite his record of child sex abuse, grand theft auto, and false imprisonment.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Martinez had been in ICE custody but walked free under Biden’s supervision order. DHS officials called the killing preventable and demanded tougher rules. The case has reignited fierce debate in the US over illegal immigration and public safety.
