YSRCP senior leader and party general secretary Gadikota Srikanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of making tall claims without delivering results. Addressing a press meet at the party headquarters in Tadepalli on Tuesday (September 16), he said Chandrababu’s words never matched his actions.
Reddy alleged that during Chandrababu’s previous rule, the state was plagued by Maoist violence, faction killings, and drought. It was only under Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy that peace returned and people were redirected toward agriculture . He said Chandrababu’s claims of bringing IT were exaggerated while growth and development collapsed during his tenure.
Highlighting Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s governance, he credited the current government for revolutionary reforms in education, welfare pensions, and strengthening public administration through the village secretariat system. In contrast, he accused Chandrababu of ignoring farmers, mishandling Polavaram, piling debts, and focusing only on propaganda.
