The Andhra Pradesh Budget has been criticised by opposition leaders, who described it as debt-driven and unrealistic. They said the government is depending too much on loans to meet its expenses and fund welfare schemes.
Critics pointed out that the State’s debt is increasing every year. They expressed concern that heavy borrowing could create financial problems in the future. According to them, the Budget lacks clear plans to increase revenue and reduce spending. They also said some of the promises made in the Budget may be difficult to implement.
Opposition leaders demanded that the government focus more on improving income sources, supporting industries, and creating jobs. They argued that strong financial planning is necessary for long-term development.
However, the government defended the Budget, saying it aims to balance welfare and development. Officials stated that the allocations were made carefully to ensure growth and support for all sections of society.
