The petitioner asked officials to change his birth date from July 24, 2008, to July 24, 2007. His matriculation certificate supports the correction. However, the update did not happen earlier.
The court asked the petitioner to meet the UIDAI regional director in Patna within a week. Officials must check the documents and complete the correction if the records match.
The judge said people should not go to court for simple Aadhaar updates. Government offices must handle such requests quickly and fairly.
