Police have shared a major update in the case involving a threat call received by Punjabi singer and actor Amar Noori. The incident came to light after she received a threatening phone call on December 16, which authorities treated with seriousness.
DSP Mohit Singla confirmed that police have rounded up three youths so far in connection with the case. Investigators are questioning them to identify the real people behind the threat. Police teams are closely examining call records, technical data, and other digital evidence linked to the incident.
According to the DSP, the investigation is progressing steadily. He said police will arrest anyone found directly involved once sufficient evidence emerges. Officials stressed that they will not show leniency toward anyone attempting to disturb law and order.
Given the seriousness of the threat, police have provided security to Amar Noori. Officers are maintaining surveillance around her residence to prevent any untoward incident. The police presence aims to ensure her safety and restore confidence.
Senior officials have assured that the case will be resolved soon. They added that the guilty will face strict legal action under the law.
