Andhra Pradesh Minister Narayana said that Amaravati is moving rapidly towards development. Speaking on the second day of the CII Partnership Summit 2025, he emphasized that the capital city is being prepared for a sustainable and innovative future.
The minister outlined plans to construct 360 kilometers of trunk roads and 1,500 kilometers of internal road networks. Modern underground utilities are also being planned. An international airport is in the design stage, which will boost economic growth and connectivity for the state.
Narayana revealed that infrastructure projects worth ₹91,000 crore are underway, with ₹51,000 crore already at the tender stage. Investments of ₹25,000 crore have been secured in various sectors. The summit led to new MoUs worth ₹40,000 crore, further accelerating development.
The minister expressed confidence that Amaravati will become a knowledge and innovation hub. Projects such as the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub and Quantum Valley will transform the city into a global center. Narayana stressed that Amaravati is not just a capital city project but a sustainable legacy for generations.
