Leaders of the Amaravati Farmers’ Joint Action Committee have voiced strong dissatisfaction, stating that even after 15 months of the coalition government coming to power, their issues remain unresolved. They alleged that no attention has been paid to key concerns such as the allocation of plots, payment of lease rents, and the protection of assigned farmers’ lands.

The leaders also accused lower-level officials in the CRDA (Capital Region Development Authority) of manipulating land records and neglecting the farmers’ legitimate claims.

They demanded that the Chief Minister hold a meeting with them at the earliest to address their long-pending grievances. Warning of further agitation, they stated that if the government fails to respond promptly, they will announce a future course of action to intensify their protest and safeguard the interests of the Amaravati farmers.
