Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana visited Amaravati on Wednesday to inspect the progress of ongoing development works. He reviewed several construction sites and assessed the pace of work on various projects. During the inspection, he interacted with officials, engineers, and representatives of contracting agencies to understand the current status.
P. Narayana instructed the contracting agencies to complete all works strictly according to the approved schedule. He stressed that there should be no delays and that quality standards must be maintained at every stage of construction. He said Amaravati is a key project for the State and should be developed in a planned and transparent manner.
Officials briefed him on the progress of works, challenges faced at some locations, and steps being taken to speed up construction. The Minister asked departments to improve coordination and ensure regular monitoring. He emphasized that timely completion of the Amaravati project would support overall urban development and administrative efficiency.
