Amaravati Quantum BioFoundry has received a major boost after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu promised full government backing. He said Amaravati Quantum BioFoundry will become a key pillar in building a future-ready technology ecosystem for the State.
During a high-level review meeting, Mr. Naidu stressed the need to promote frontier technologies. He said the government wants to create a strong environment that attracts global innovation, researchers, and investors.
The Chief Minister shared plans to turn Amaravati into a leading hub for advanced research. The focus will remain on biotechnology, quantum-based solutions, and next-generation innovation. New policies will support top scientists, start-ups, and global companies setting up research facilities.
Officials said the BioFoundry fits well with the State’s vision to expand high-value industries. They highlighted better infrastructure, skilled talent, and faster approvals to help companies start operations smoothly.
Industry leaders welcomed the announcement. They said the project can give Andhra Pradesh an edge in quantum biology, synthetic biology, and advanced biotech manufacturing.
Mr. Naidu said the government will continue its innovation-driven agenda to create jobs and bring world-class research to Amaravati.
