Amarendra Dhari Singh net worth has attracted attention after details from the Bihar Rajya Sabha election nominations became public. The RJD candidate has emerged as the richest contender in the race with assets worth around ₹243 crore.
According to his election affidavit, Amarendra Dhari Singh net worth includes about ₹4.5 lakh in cash and nearly ₹26.68 crore deposited in bank accounts. He also holds bonds and shares worth more than ₹30 crore and about ₹93 lakh in a Public Provident Fund account.
A major share of his wealth comes from investments in companies, firms, and trusts worth nearly ₹148 crore. His movable assets alone are valued at about ₹206.98 crore.
Singh also owns vehicles such as a Toyota Qualis and a Hyundai Venue. He possesses small quantities of gold and silver along with household assets.
The 55-year-old businessman from Patna district runs fertilizer import and real estate businesses in around 13 countries. He is also building a 200-bed hospital in Delhi that will provide treatment for poor patients.
