Andhra Pradesh farmers have received good news from the state government. On Monday, Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Acchennaidu reviewed the release of funds under the Annadata Sukhibhava and PM-Kisan schemes. During the review, he fixed the date for fund disbursement. The funds will be released on December 19 during an event in Kamalapur, Kadapa district. On the same day, the central government will also release PM-Kisan funds.
Eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 from the central government and ₹5,000 from the state government. The total assistance amounts to ₹7,000 per farmer. This second phase of Annadata Sukhibhava will benefit 46,62,904 farmers across Andhra Pradesh. The combined funds from both governments will total ₹3,077.77 crore.
The minister instructed officials to ensure that if any eligible farmer passes away, their heirs can claim the benefits. Death mutation procedures should be completed promptly so that the scheme applies to the successors.
Authorities have been asked to monitor bank transfers and confirm that all funds are credited to the correct accounts. Farmers are advised to check their accounts after December 19 to confirm receipt of the scheme benefits.
