Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Hails 2025 as a Breakthrough Year for Growth and Welfare

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has described 2025 as a breakthrough year for the State’s economic growth and social welfare. In a review meeting, ministers highlighted significant achievements under the NDA government, stressing progress across development, employment, and investment fronts.
The Cabinet noted that welfare expenditures exceeded ₹50,000 crore, benefiting a wide range of citizens through healthcare, education, and social security schemes. Recruitment drives strengthened key sectors, with 15,941 teachers and 5,757 police personnel joining government service, enhancing education and law enforcement capacity.
On the economic front, the State signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹13.25 lakh crore, aimed at attracting industrial and infrastructural investments. These initiatives contributed to sustained double-digit GDP growth, positioning Andhra Pradesh as one of India’s fastest-growing States.
The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to inclusive development, job creation, and long-term economic stability, while reaffirming a focus on efficient implementation of welfare programs and investment-led growth strategies across the State.
