Andhra Pradesh outpaces national average with 10.5% GSDP growth in Q1 2025-26, highlighting its strong economic momentum. The State has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies in the country, driven by impressive performance across key sectors.

Presenting the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) review at the 4th Collectors’ Conference on Monday (September 15, 2025), the Planning Department reported a 10.5% growth rate for Q1 2025-26. This figure stands higher than the national average of 8.8%, underscoring Andhra Pradesh’s resilience and competitive edge.

The Gross Value Added (GVA) also showed significant improvement, rising to 10.76% from 9.4% in the same quarter last year. Agriculture and allied sectors contributed strongly, posting a growth rate of 9.6% against the national average of just 3.2%. Valued at ₹81,496 crore, this sector continues to remain the backbone of the State’s economy.

With such performance, Andhra Pradesh outpaces national average benchmarks and reinforces its reputation as a leader in sustainable growth. The State’s focus on agriculture, allied activities, and development initiatives has created a robust foundation for future progress.
