Andhra Pradesh has announced a big plan to grow its economy to ₹308 lakh crore (about $3.4 trillion) by the year 2047, Governor Abdul Nazeer said in the state Assembly. This target is part of the Swarna Andhra Vision, a long-term roadmap for economic and social reforms. The state also aims to raise per capita income to about ₹55 lakh by 2047.
The Governor said Andhra Pradesh is moving from recovery to strong growth after years of challenges. He highlighted welfare programmes like cash support for students, free bus travel for women, and pensions for seniors. The government plans to boost job creation, technology, and industry.
Economic indicators are improving: the state’s Gross Domestic Product (GSDP) is growing strongly and income levels are rising. The vision also includes better infrastructure, new projects in Amaravati, and support for sectors like agriculture and services
