Anil Mishra Bail Granted by the Madhya Pradesh High Court has brought major relief to senior advocate Anil Mishra in Gwalior. After continuous hearings, the court on Wednesday approved his bail on a personal bond of ₹1 lakh. The High Court made strong observations on police conduct and termed Mishra’s arrest unconstitutional.

Police arrested Anil Mishra in a case linked to the alleged burning of Dr BR Ambedkar’s photograph. Authorities later sent him to judicial custody. During the hearing, the court questioned the legality of the arrest and expressed concern over procedural lapses. Following the order, officials will release Mishra from jail the same day.

Senior advocate MP Singh welcomed the verdict and called it a victory of truth. He described the ruling as historic. Singh said the court clearly ruled that the police violated constitutional safeguards while making the arrest. He also highlighted a serious error in the investigation. According to him, police registered the FIR by treating an absconding accused as the complainant. This action raised doubts about the intent of the investigation.

The case involves seven accused in total. Police arrested four people earlier, including Anil Mishra. The bail pleas of the remaining three accused are also pending before the court. Legal experts expect relief for them once hearings conclude.

The verdict has triggered debate over police accountability. Lawyers across Gwalior see the ruling as a strong reminder of constitutional rights.
