Bus accidents across the Telugu states are creating panic among passengers. Night-time travel, once common, has now turned into a source of fear. Both private and RTC buses have been involved in frequent mishaps, leaving passengers anxious about road safety.
Another such accident occurred in Palnadu district, near Reddygudem village of Rajupalem. A private bus belonging to Morning Travels lost control and slipped into a roadside pit. The bus tilted over a drainage pipe, causing chaos among passengers.
According to reports, the bus was traveling from Hyderabad to Bapatla when the driver lost control. Passengers quickly broke the emergency windows and escaped. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in the incident.
However, the repeated occurrence of bus accidents across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has raised serious safety concerns. Fear among passengers is growing, and many are now hesitant to board buses, especially for overnight journeys. Authorities are being urged to tighten transport safety measures.
