Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh participated in the CII Partnership Summit held in Visakhapatnam on Friday. He said Andhra Pradesh is becoming the growth engine of the country. He added that Visakhapatnam is turning into a major growth corridor for the state.
Lokesh stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is speeding up the development of Amaravati and Visakhapatnam. He noted that the government is providing quick approvals and land allotments for new investments. This support is helping industries reach production stage faster.
He said Andhra Pradesh and the Centre now have double-engine governments. Lokesh explained that investments in the state are treated as national investments. He assured full support to investors from both the state and union governments. He also mentioned that Union Minister Piyush Goyal is helping AP move towards a 2.4 trillion-dollar economy.
Lokesh announced that a major giga data center is coming to Andhra Pradesh. He shared this update through a post on Twitter. He said complete details will be revealed today at 6 pm. The announcement is expected to draw attention from global technology investors.
