Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar has launched a file decentralization initiative to expedite decision-making and improve administrative efficiency. Under this new system, not every file will need to reach the minister personally, allowing faster processing of departmental work.

The minister has delegated decision-making authority to senior officials, including the Department Secretary, across 28 key areas. However, certain critical files will still be routed to the minister, ensuring oversight on important matters. These 17 crucial areas include Chief Minister and Cabinet decisions, policy matters, vigilance reports, staff service matters, departmental divisions, coordination with the central government, and the establishment of colleges and hospitals.

By decentralizing routine files while retaining control over high-priority issues, the Health Minister aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and ensure prompt action across his department. Officials are expected to exercise their delegated powers responsibly, contributing to a more efficient governance system.
