Bathinda’s Rama Mandi artist Rampal Baheniwal created a soap statue of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on his birth anniversary. He said he crafted the statue in five days and felt proud to honour a leader respected in India and abroad. SAD leaders appreciated Badal’s contributions and recalled his commitment to all communities.
Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal celebrated Sadbhavana Divas in Badal village, where a new statue of Parkash Singh Badal was unveiled. During the event, Sukhbir Singh Badal became emotional while speaking about his father. He said Parkash Singh Badal dedicated his life to Punjab, protected the state during critical times, and worked for peace and harmony. He vowed to carry forward his father’s vision for Punjab.
