Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Anirudh Kumar, son of Anant Paswan from Kunwar village in Madhubani, was found dead in a field near Rahar. His throat was slit with a sharp weapon. His left hand appeared broken, likely from a rod hit.
Police found an iron rod, broken glasses, towel, and slippers near his body. He was 46 years old and served at Darauda police station in Siwan. After learning about the crime, SHO Vikas Kumar Singh, SP Manoj Kumar Tiwari, and SDPO Aman visited the scene.
